CLINICAL GOVERNMENT:  The deadline for clinical government summer school applications has been extended. You have until Wednesday to submit applications to your US history teacher or drop off in C202.

MUSLIM STUDENT ASSOCATION:  Join the Muslim Student Association for a presentation about Ramdadan on Thursday after school in C201. Everyone is welcome, including staff and students.

GIRLS BADMINTON:  Girls Badminton tryouts begin Monday, March 3rd from 3:30-5:30.  Sophomores, juniors, and seniors will try-out in Spec Gym. Freshmen will try-out in the Fieldhouse. To try out, register in 8 to 18 on the Maine West Athletic page and turn in a current physical to the Athletic Office. Please wear gym shoes and athletic clothing and bring a water bottle.

BADMINTON OPEN GYM: All students and staff are invited to Badminton Open Gym Friday mornings in February from 6:30-8 am in Spec gym. Please enter door #37. After 7 am, enter at the Bus Concourse. If questions, contact Coach Butterfield, Coach McCluskey or Coach Webber.

FEEDBACK FRIDAY:  Hey Warriors today is Feedback Friday! The Principal's Leadership Team members will be soliciting feedback for ways to improve your experience at Maine West. Be sure to seek out a member of the Principal’s Leadership Team member today to fill out a GoogleForm.

THE LITTLE MERMAID:  Want to escape the polar vortex? Come to this year's musical, The Little Mermaid. Student tickets are $7 and adults are $12. Shows are at 7:00 pm today and tomorrow.  Sunday's show is at 2:00 pm with the Under The Sea Carnival from 12 to 1:30 in the upper commons. There is an additional $10 entrance fee for the carnival but there will be games, prizes and pictures with Ariel, King Triton, Sebastian and other cast members.

CONGRATULATIONS:  The Speech Team ended their IHSA State Series run on Saturday with the Sectionals Tournament at Downers Grove South High School. Congratulations to Sam Rubio who advanced to finals in Original Comedy. Congratulations Team for a great showing and a wonderful season.

CANDY SALE:  Buy sweets for your sweetie and friends for a good cause. Student Ambassadors are selling valentine candy bags for $5 each at the bookstore and today during lunch periods in the lower commons.
