At the Maine South tournament last weekend Emilia Jozwik won best witness.
This weekend at the Lake County Tournament, we had several competitors receive awards:
Evlin Matthew and Vrisha Kotak won best attorney and Vic Hernandez won best witness.

SOFTBALL:  There are open gyms for softball on Monday evenings from 6-8 and hitting practice Wednesday and Friday mornings 6:30-7:30. For questions, see Coach Dvorak or Coach Addante. GIRLS WATER POLO:  Girls who would like to join the Water Polo team should come to D113 on Friday for an organizational meeting. All levels of experience are welcome. Season begins February 26.

This is an election year for President and Congress, with the primaries in March and the general election in November. You are eligible to vote in the upcoming March and November elections if you: will be 18 by November 5 and are a U.S. citizen.  Volunteers from Action Ridge will be in the Library on Thursday, February 8 and Friday, February 9 from 9-2 to help students register.

Registering is quick and easy. For the most streamlined experience, please bring two of the following items when you come to register:  your Illinois Driver’s License or State ID,  the last four digits of your social security number, and/or another ID.  If you forget your IDs but still want to register, come down to the Library anyway. Volunteers can give you the tools you need to register at home.

If you’re already registered, amplify your vote--get your friends to register. Now is the time for everyone to be ‘Vote Ready!’"

PI SIGMA PI BAKE SALE:  Pi Sigma Pi will hold a Bake Sale on Tuesday, February 13th during all lunch periods. Bring your cash and buy yourself or your Valentine a sweet treat! All proceeds benefit the Maui Strong Fund established to help wildfire victims.

Valentines Day is just around the corner and that means it's time for VALENTUNES!
Valentunes are singing telegrams and will be delivered during 5th period on Valentine's Day.
They make a great gift for a friend!
Valentunes are only $2 and are on sale in the bookstore all week.

SOFTBALL:  There are open gyms for softball on Monday evenings from 6-8 and hitting practice Wednesday and Friday mornings 6:30-7:30. For questions, see Coach Dvorak or Coach Addante. If you are interested in coming out for softball and are not in our google classroom please email one of the coaches.

PSYCHOLOGY CLUB:  Are you addicted to your phone? Let's talk about it! Psychology Club is meeting after school today in Room C214. The topic is cell phones - why we love them and why we can't let go of them. Everyone is welcome!
