STUDENTS:  The boys basketball team is currently 1-0 in the CSL North and tied for first place. A big showdown with conference championship implications is set for today, when the 23rd ranked team in the state, the Niles North Vikings come to town. It's the boys basketball home opener. Varsity tips off at 7 pm this Friday. Come out and support your team.

CONGRATULATIONS:  Congratulations to Meghna Pillai and Kaya Socha, who took two first place awards at this weekends Hersey Best in Show Tournament for Speech Team. Meghna and Kaya were #1 in Dramatic Duet Acting and Humorous Duet Acting.

STUDENTS: Come support the gymnastics team in their first annual pink meet as they compete against Vernon Hills on Wednesday in A Wing gym at 5:30. Baked goods to purchase and all donations go to Breast Cancer!

DECA:  Attention all DECA members, our monthly meeting is this Wednesday, December 11 from 7:45-8:10 a.m. in D112. We will finalize the written event submissions and discuss how to prepare for the upcoming business exam.

CONGRATULATIONS:  Congratulations to Taylor Anama and Ryan W. for competing at the Special Olympics state bowling competition this weekend. Ryan W earned a bronze medal and Taylor Anama earned 4th place! Congratulations to our state olympians!

GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD:  There will be an important informational meeting today in G102 for any girl interested in joining the Track & Field team. The season begins January 21.

Accounting Club's focus is to teach members how to prepare a basic individual tax return. Members will become certified by the IRS and that looks great on applications and resumes, and is a valuable life skill. An informational meeting will be held after school today in D112.

FASHION & COSMETOLOGY CLUB:  Fashion & Cosmetology Club will host a DIY scrunchie workshop on Tuesday, December 3 after school in C108. Learn how to make a scrunchie in less than an hour. This is open to all students and supplies will be provided.
