BOWLS FOR CHANGE:  The Maine West Fine Arts Department, National Art Honor Society, CTE and Women's Empowerment Club are sponsoring Bowls for Change, a women's history month fundraiser to benefit Wings and the Malala fund. The event is today from 3:30 pm till 6:30 pm in the upper commons. $16 will get you a handmade ceramics bowl and a pasta dinner. Please scan the QR code on the posters around school to purchase bowls/dinner tickets in advance.

CONGRATULATIONS:  17 Maine West DECA members competed at the State competition last weekend and 7 of them placed in the Top 3 in the state in their written events. Congratulations to the following DECA members who qualified for nationals: Sabrina Bukvarevic, Sofia Cupuro, Medina Dizdarevic, Yuliya Kolinkovska, Mohnish Soni, Mia Thomas and Mishelle Wiewiora. Best of luck at nationals in Orlando in April.

BOOK MARCH MADNESS:  Walk past the Warrior Library and check out our Tournament of Books! Scan the QR code and vote for your favorite in each category - check back each week and see which book is voted the Best at West. Then, if you haven't read that winner, come check a copy out and see for yourself how good it is!

MARCH MADNESS COLLEGE PANELS:  March Madness college panels are happening on March 9 and 10 in the back of the library. Up to 8 different college representatives will join us each period to talk about their colleges and answer questions. If you need a pass for class, come to the CCRC.

MAINE WEST UNPLUGGED: If you play an acoustic instrument and want to play with others in a relaxed atmosphere, come to Maine West Unplugged.  We will meet after school on Friday in the LRC.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Greenberg in the LRC.

LINK CREW:  Link Crew Wants YOU.   Current Sophomores or Juniors are invited to apply.  There is a mandatory meeting Wednesday, March 8 in room E107 at 7:45 am or during any 5th period lunches or at 3:00 pm.  Returning and new applicants should attend.
