Congrats to the MW DECA members who qualified to compete at DECA Nationals earlier this week in Atlanta. We wish seniors Riya, Neo and Yanni the best as they move on to college and we can't wait to see what Daniela will achieve in the coming years as a leader in our DECA chapter.

They will be performing Makayla’s piece “Burn” at the Illinois High School Dance Festival’s
student choreography showcase. This is an amazing honor. Their dance was chosen one of the 12 best dances in the state of Illinois choreographed by a student.
They perform this evening. Wish them all the best.

IMPROV SHOW: Want some comic relief ahead of next week's testing? The Maine West Improv Warriors will host their Spring Improv Show tonight at 6pm in the Choir Room (R207). Tickets are $3 and concessions are $2 each. Both are sold at the door and are (Cash Only). Bring a friend and see you there!

DRAMA CLUB:  Drama Club will host their April meeting immediately after school today in the Orchestra Room (E209). Information about officer elections, Thespian Honor Society induction and much more will be discussed! There will be games and candy as always so make sure to come out and have a fun time!

MUSIC APPRECIATION SOCIETY: The Music Appreciation Society will meet Thursday after school in the LRC. We will be honoring women in music so come to listen to or play your favorite female artists!

ASSYRIAN CLUB:  Come join the newly formed Assyrian Club after school Monday, April 11in H106.  This is open to all Maine West students that want to learn more about the Assyrian culture in a positive club environment.

SPRING PLAY PERFORMANCE:  Maine West High School’s Drama Department proudly presents this year’s Spring Play, “Lost Girl” April 21st at 4:00pm and April 22nd and 23rd at 7:00p.m. in the Maine West Auditorium. This contemporary coming-of-age story explores the tale of Peter Pan through the eyes of Wendy Darling after she returns from Neverland.
