GIRLS SOCCER: Girls soccer season is beginning. Tryouts will be held Monday through Wednesday. Sign up online for tryouts, wear cleats and shinguards. Tryouts start at 3:30 on the South Field next to the stadium.
GIRLS BADMINTON: Girls Badminton tryouts begin Monday from 3:30-5:30. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors will try-out in Spec Gym. Freshmen will try-out in the Fieldhouse. To try out, register in 8 to 18 on the Maine West Athletic page and turn in a current physical to the Athletic Office. Please wear gym shoes and athletic clothing and bring a water bottle.
BOYS TENNIS: If you are interested in being on the boys tennis team, meet out at the Tennis Courts on Monday ready to start by 3:30.
STUDENT AMBASSADORS: Calling all students. We need you. Have you ever considered what it must feel like to move to a new city and to change schools? Have you ever wanted to help other students? We are looking for volunteers to become Student Ambassadors. What is a Student Ambassador? Student Ambassadors help transfer students during their first critical days at Maine West. The Student Ambassador Club also organizes other fun activities throughout the year to help transfer students meet other students and get involved at school. SUMMER JOB FEST: Are you looking for a job or volunteer opportunity? The Summer Fest: Job and Volunteer Fair is Wednesday, March 12 in the lower commons.
