MAINE WEST BOYS GOLF EXCITED TO MAKE HISTORIC NIGHT DEBUT
In the over 100 years the sport has been sanctioned by the Illinois High School Association, there have been exactly zero events that have taken place at night…until now.  Maine West hosts Highland Park at 7 p.m. Friday at Golf Center Des Plaines in the state’s inaugural night meet in boys golf.  Most golf courses don’t have lights, so meets traditionally end once the sun goes down. The Golf Center course is nine holes and well lit, setting up the historic opportunity.
