THRIFT CLUB:  The Maine West Thrift Club is accepting clothing donations for a fundraiser benefiting Maine West's Family and Student Services.  Please consider donating clothing.  There are large green bins at the front entrance and at the bus concourse.  A fundraising sale will take place Thursday and Friday in E105 during lunch periods.  For more information, please see Mr. Greenberg in the Library.

2024 COMMUNITY PRIDE CELEBRATION:  We are planning for the 2024 Community Pride Celebration that will be hosted by Maine West on Saturday, June 1st.  This celebration of the LGBTQ+ community is well underway. The girls water polo team improved to 10 and 0 by defeating Maine South 16 to 4.
Congratulations to Maya Biela for leading the team with 5 goals and Emma Blezien with 14 steals.

Congratulations to the newest members of the Spanish Honor Society.
A special ceremony to celebrate these students will be held on April 3.

Join the puppy party during lunch and lend a paw by donating your spare change to support Border Tails. Look for an NHS member with a pup-cup or stop by the table near the vending machine.

becoming Barrington Tournament Champions.

Congratulations to the Maine West DECA team who participated at the state competition last Friday. 16 DECA members competed and 11 of them placed in the Top 10 in one or more events. A special shout out to senior Medina Dizdarevic for placing Top 10 in both her written event and role play. Also, congrats to junior Max Siuchta who placed Top 5 in his role play, qualifying him to compete at national competition in Anaheim, California in April. Way to go!

DRAMA CLUB:  Drama Club is meeting after school today in A206. We will chat about the end-of-the-year awards ceremony and thespian nominations - PLUS - THERE WILL BE GAMES AND CANDY.
