GIRLS SOCCER: Girls soccer season is beginning. Tryouts will be held Monday through Wednesday. Sign up online for tryouts, wear cleats and shinguards. Tryouts start at 3:30 on the South Field next to the stadium.
BASEBALL: There will be a pre-season meeting for students interested in playing baseball after school today in D105.
MUSLIM STUDENT ASSOCATION: Join the Muslim Student Association for a presentation about Ramadan today after school in C201. Everyone is welcome, including staff and students.
GIRLS BADMINTON: Girls Badminton tryouts begin Monday, March 3rd from 3:30-5:30. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors will try-out in Spec Gym. Freshmen will try-out in the Fieldhouse. To try out, register in 8 to 18 on the Maine West Athletic page and turn in a current physical to the Athletic Office. Please wear gym shoes and athletic clothing and bring a water bottle.
BOYS TENNIS: If you are interested in being on the boys tennis team, meet out at the Tennis Courts on Monday, March 3 ready to start by 3:30.
STUDENT AMBASSADORS: Calling all students. We need you. Have you ever considered what it must feel like to move to a new city and to change schools? Have you ever wanted to help other students? We are looking for volunteers to become Student Ambassadors. What is a Student Ambassador? Student Ambassadors help transfer students during their first critical days at Maine West. The Student Ambassador Club also organizes other fun activities throughout the year to help transfer students meet other students and get involved at school.
