FROM THE NURSE:  Students, are you interested in knowing what your cholesterol is? The School Based Health Center is offering FREE fasting cholesterol testing every Saturday through May 7th.
As many as one in five American adolescents have abnormal cholesterol levels. Find out what your cholesterol is.  If interested in this free screening, please go to the health office to schedule your appointment.

WARRIOR BADMINTON CHALLENGE:  Do you have what it takes to go toe to toe with a Badminton Warrior? There is only one way to find out - Challenge a Badminton Warrior to a badminton match. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will take place Friday, April 22nd after school in the Spec Gym. For a $3 donation, you will be able to step on the court with a Maine West Badminton athlete and play them in a game of badminton. If you win, you will receive $1 back. Please come on out and support your Badminton Warriors.

GIRLS BASKETBALL:  Calling all girls' basketball players! We will be hosting spring open gyms starting this week. Today we will be in the fieldhouse at 5:30 pm and Thursday, we will be in spec gym at 6:30 am.

PI SIGMA PI: Pi Sigma Pi members, it's time to order your 2022 T-shirt. Sign up and pay in the bookstore no later than Friday, April 22nd. The cost is $10.00.

SPRING PLAY PERFORMANCE:  Maine West High School’s Drama Department proudly presents this year’s Spring Play, “Lost Girl” April 21st at 4:00pm and April 22nd and 23rd at 7:00p.m. in the Maine West Auditorium. This contemporary coming-of-age story explores the tale of Peter Pan through the eyes of Wendy Darling after she returns from Neverland. At the age of twenty, she must confront her feelings about first love, friendship, and painful loss. Wendy is the girl who had to grow up. Playwright Kimberly Belflower won the 2018 Kennedy Center Darrell Ayers National Playwriting Award for “Lost Girl.” Don’t miss this beautiful play!
