JUNIORS:  Hey Juniors! The ACT is coming Thursday, April 16. Get some last-minute tips, familiarize yourself with the test and practice to increase your score.  Free ACT Prep is available all day in the LRC for English and Reading and after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Warriors After Hours for Math. Boost your scores with free prep.

BLOOD DRIVE:  Please join us for the Spring Blood Drive on Thursday in Spec Gym Foyer from 8:30 to 2:15. You can schedule an appointment using the QR code or the website as seen on posters in the hallways. Students may also register in the lower commons from 10:45 to 1:30 on Tuesday or Wednesday. Students who are 17 or 18 years of age can give and students who are 16 will need consent from a parent or guardian. Students may only donate during lunch, PE or a free period and each donor will receive 25 spirit points.

PI SIGMA PI:  Senior members of Pi Sigma Pi may now go to the Bookstore and pay for their honor cords. The cost is $3.00. For instructions about how to pay online, please check Google Classroom.

EUROPE TRIP:  Ms. Bracker, along with EF Tours, is leading a trip to Switzerland, Italy, France and Spain in the Summer of 2027. We’re holding an informational meeting on Tuesday, April 14th for anyone interested in joining the crew. To sign up, scan the QR code on the signs throughout the school, or visit Ms. Bracker in Room B219 for more details. Europe is calling—will you answer?

LUNCH AND LEARN:  SFS will host Lunch and Learn today in H102, the topic is Navigating Academic Stress.  Snacks will be provided. There will be a mini lesson and strategies taught.  

GI HEALTH INITIATIVE:  Are you interested in making a difference for kids in need supporting Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago and expanding your knowledge of digestive wellness? Join the GI Health Initiative. Our first meeting will be Monday, April 13 from 3:00 till 3:30. We will meet in A207 to talk about our goals and fundraising opportunities. Please reach out to Mr. Walzer with any questions.

PAWS FOR A CAUSE:  Do you love animals and want to make a difference? Paws for a Cause is a new club where students can learn how to help animals in need and make a real impact. All students who care about animals are welcome and no experience is needed. Join us to help make our community a better place for animals. Our first meeting will be after school Tuesday, April 21. We will meet in A207. Please reach out to Mr. Walzer with any questions.

NEWS FROM THE CCRC:  On Tuesday April 14, the CCRC will host a Virtual Reality Career Exploration Workshop during lunch periods. At this event, students will experience a variety of careers through a virtual reality game using VR headsets! Come and explore what your future career might look like someday.
