WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT:  The Women's Empowerment Club will meet tomorrow in the CCRC (Room: B-101) before school at 8am. We will welcome our new members and discuss exciting upcoming events.

PI SIGMA PI: Pi Sigma Pi will have an important all-club meeting on Friday, December 6th at 7:45 in the Lower Commons. Come learn about the 3MM stress-reducing mindfulness exercise from the School Based Health Center. Also, remember to pay for your club T-shirt in the Bookstore ASAP. DRAMA CLUB:  Our next Drama Club meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 4 in A206. We will chat about important information regarding our upcoming trip to Theatrefest.  There will be games and candy.

TOYS FOR TOTS:  Balkan Club is collecting toys for Toys For Tots. The collection bin is in front of the Visual Art Wing at the end of C120. Please bring new and unwrapped toys to help families in need who can't afford gifts this season. The drive is from December 2nd through the 13th.

CHILDREN'S BOOK DRIVE:  Maine West’s chapter of National English Honor Society will be having a Holiday Children’s Book Drive to support local children. The book drive will take place from Monday, December 9th through Wednesday, December 18th. Please donate gently used books for children ages 3-10. Your English classes will have a box where you can bring your donated books. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Marshall. Thank you in advance for supporting a great cause

BAKE SALE: Maine West’s chapter of National English Honor Society will be hosting a bake sale this Friday, December 6th during 5th period lunches. We will have many different delicious desserts all for $2.00. Only cash will be accepted.

IMPROV NIGHT:  Don't miss Maine West’s first Improv Night of the season. Come see the amazing, unscripted and hilarious talents of our very own Improv Warriors. The event will take place on Tuesday, December 3rd in R207 (the Choir Rm.), at 6 pm. Admission is only $3 for students, $5 for adults and concessions are $2 each. All proceeds benefit the Drama Club.

Students will compete in a variety of event categories, including poetry, radio, humorous duet acting and prose to name a few. Best of luck team at Speechapalooza and have a wonderful season.

FEEDBACK FRIDAYS:  Today the Principal's Leadership Team will be soliciting feedback from students on ways you think your school experience can be improved. THE PLT members will have orange cards with a QR code. Scan the QR code to complete a Google Form. Feedback Fridays will happen once a month.

ANNUAL SCIENCE DAY:  Do you have a younger sibling or a school-age child that you watch on the weekend and need something to do together that's free and not outside in the cold? If so, please come to the 6th annual Maine West Science Day. It takes place tomorrow from 10-2. Please come and do some creepy-crawly stuff with the Science National Honor Society.

PLAYOFF FOOTBALL: Your Warrior Football Team is back in the playoffs!  Tonight.  Gates open at 5:00 and kickoff is at 6:30.  Buy your tickets on GoFan for $7.  ACTIVITY PASSES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.  Find the QR Code to purchase tickets or pay cash at the game.  Avoid the lines and use GoFan!  

WEST SIDE: Join West Side by dressing up for Warrior-Ween tomorrow.  Friday's home football game will have a costume and blue and gold theme. Wear an appropriate costume, no masks or come decked out in blue and gold spirit. Varsity kicks off at 6:30. There will be fun prizes and games.

MU ALPHA THETA: Today is the last day to pay to join the Mu Alpha Theta math honor society.  New members need to pay $10 and seniors that want honor cords need to pay $6 in the bookstore.  See Mrs. Stutheit in B209 with any questions.

CCRC: Are you eager to learn more about different careers and hear from industry professionals? Come to the Career and Leadership Summit presented by Nerdy Girl Success at Maine South High School. This awesome event will be held on Saturday from 9-12:30. All female identifying students are welcome. There will be workshops, a career fair, a panel discussion, and goodie bags!
