GIRLS BASKETBALL:  Girls' Basketball will have open gym after school today in the Field House from 3:40-5:00. Anyone planning on trying out for girls' basketball this Winter is welcome.

FINE ARTS MEDIA CAREER DAY:  The Fine Arts Department at Maine West will be hosting a Media Career Day open to ALL students on Saturday, October 21st, from 8:00am until 12:30pm. Students will visit WGN studios in Chicago and hear from a panel of industry professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for any Maine West student to learn about careers in the media industry. AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE:  There is no ASL club meeting this week. Keep practicing and we will play ASL bingo next week. Still thinking about joining American Sign Language club? Join us next week Tuesday after school in the Library.

SPEECH TEAM: Have you been losing sleep wondering what exactly is Speech Team? Well don't you worry! Speech Team is having their informational meeting TODAY to tell interested students what exactly is a Speech Team and what it takes to become a member. COLLEGE FAIR & POST-SECONDARY EXPO:  District 207's College Fair & Post-secondary Expo is tonight from 6:30-8:30 here at Maine West.
