MOVIE CLUB:  Movie club is showing A Quiet Place Part II today at 3:40 pm in H106. Silence is Not Enough.

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD:  Science Olympiad will meet Tuesday, October 26 in Room B109 at 3:30 pm.

DECA MEMBERS:  Have you selected your role play competitive event, yet? If not, please be sure to complete the role play selection form posted in Google Classroom before this week is over. Also, please attend our next meeting before school on Monday, October 25 from 7:45.-8:15 a.m. We will be discussing written events that are a requirement to compete at state competition.

STUDENTS:  Pass/Fail petitions are available. Please follow this link to the Google Form and submit one form per class you wish to take Pass/No-Grade (NG). Forms are due Friday, October 29th. Only the classes that are not required for graduation and that are not accelerated or AP can be taken Pass/Fail. Read the Instructions in the form before completing it.

FALL PLAY - "WINTER BREAK": Maine West High School is excited to welcome live audiences back to the Maine West Auditorium this season. And this time, audiences will be seated on stage with the actors! The Drama Department proudly presents this year’s fall play, “Winter Break” today at 4:00 pm and Friday and Saturday at 7:00 pm. "Winter Break" explores the complicated lives of 19 young adults as they navigate friendships, breakups and finding their place in the world on the first night of Winter Break. Don't miss this hilarious and touching play. Tickets are $7 and sold at the door.

STUDENTS AND STAFF:  Help celebrate Socktober!  The Self-Help Closet and Food Pantry of Des Plaines needs new socks, especially men's white athletic socks. Please look for our red barrels located in the main office and front entry to donate.
