HOMECOMING DANCE: Get ready to turn up the volume! This year's Homecoming Dance theme is Maine West Mixtape, taking place on Saturday at 7:00 PM in the Spec Gym and Fieldhouse. Tickets are $30 each. Students are required to present their ID barcode for scanning when purchasing tickets in the bookstore and at the door for entry to the Homecoming dance. Ticket sales will end after school in the bookstore. Tickets may be purchased online using 5Star until Saturday afternoon. Grab your tickets early, dust off your best dance moves, and get ready for an unforgettable night!
Today during lunch periods, homecoming dance wristbands will be distributed in the lower commons to students who have purchased tickets. If you have not purchased your tickets yet, you may stop by the bookstore or purchase online using 5Star in order to get a wristband. You do not need a wristband to enter the dance on Saturday night.SPEECH TEAM CRAFT AND BAKE SALE: The Speech Team is having a crafty bake sale to celebrate Homecoming week today during lunch in the lower commons. The team will be selling cute crafts, including Maine West themed stickers, custom pens and crocheted stuffies, as well as a delicious array of freshly baked goods. Come check it out during your lunch break.
MU ALPHA THETA: Monday is the last day to pay for Mu Alpha Theta. Seniors members, if you want honor cords, you need to pay $7 by Monday in the bookstore. New members need to pay $12 by Monday in the bookstore. See Mrs. Stutheit with any questions.
IMPROV WARRIORS: Are you good at thinking on your feet? If so, come check out auditions for the Maine West Improv Warriors from 3:30 to 5:00 on Monday, September 21 in A206. Improv Team practices are only once every other week in the morning to avoid conflicts with activities and other sports. We will teach you everything you need to know, no previous experience necessary.
