STUDENT VOICE COUNCIL:  Are you looking to be a leader in our school and help make Maine West a fun, welcoming, and inclusive place for everyone? Then Student Voice Council wants YOU.  Our first meeting of the year is Wednesday, August 26 at 7:10 AM in Room D105. Come share your ideas, help shape our school community and grab a free breakfast treat plus 25 spirit points just for showing up. Start your morning right and make your voice heard.

WMTH/WARRIOR WEEKLY:  WMTH and the Warrior Weekly staff will have their first informational meeting on Wednesday, August 26 at 3:00 with anchor auditions immediately following at 3:30. If you are interested in filming our school concerts and sporting events, hosting your own radio show or learning to film and edit for Warrior Weekly, join us on August 26 in R209. PI SIGMA PI:  Welcome back all members of Pi Sigma Pi Social Science Honor Society. Please check your email and accept the invitation to join this year's Pi Sigma Pi's Google Classroom. Check for important announcements before Wednesday, August 26th.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY: Girls Cross Country team is still accepting new members and would love for you to join us No experience necessary You can register online through the Maine West Athletics website. See Coach Garceau in B212 with any questions.

ASL CLUB: Have you ever wanted to learn or practice American Sign Language? Come to ASL club in the library after school on September 1st for an informational meeting.

BOOK CLUB: Book club is having it's first meeting on Wednesday, September 9th after school in the library in front of the Fireplace. Come and chat about what you read over summer and help us choose our first read for the year.

COLLEGE FAIR AND POSTSECONDARY EXPO:  The D207 College Fair and Postsecondary Expo is Wednesday, September 9 from 6:30-8 HERE at Maine West. There will be over 100 post high school options including colleges and trade programs, a FAFSA presentation and a trades presentation. Come learn about all your options for post high school. If you have any questions, reach out to Ms. Adams or Ms. Nelson in the CCRC.
