 Next Week is Snow Much Fun Spirit Week

We want everyone to join in. Here are your themes for each day.

Tuesday: Snowbirds Day—dress in your best tropical gear
Wednesday: Beanie and Blanket Day, plus our Walk in a Winter Wonderland at 3 PM
Thursday: Groutfit Day—wear your favorite all-gray outfit
Friday: Ugly Sweater Day to finish out the week

SENIORS:  If you did not complete your senior signature card in advisory or if you would like to redo your signature, please stop by the Main Office anytime before Wednesday, December 10.

GERMAN CLUB:  German Club is hosting a Bake Sale today during all 5th period lunches. We will accept cash and apple pay. Come enjoy some holiday treats.

NEWS FROM THE SBHC:  The School Based Health Center is sponsoring a training event along with Gabriel's Light known as teen Mental Health First aid. The training is for teens to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health challenges in their peers and friends and connect them to a trusted adult. The training is December 9, 10 and 11 and you must attend all three sessions to be certified. Only 30 spots available. To register, scan the QR code on the flyers around school.

BOOK DRIVE:  The National English Honor Society is hosting its annual holiday children's book drive through Wednesday, December 17th. All English teachers will have decorated bins in their classroom where books can be dropped. All books will be donated to children in the area.

WALK IN WINTER WONDERLAND: Wednesday is Beanie and Blankie Day and our Walk in Winter Wonderland. For just 10 dollars, you get a beanie, hot chocolate after the walk and one raffle ticket. Raffle prizes include gift cards to local restaurants, cash, Get Air passes and Maine West swag. You can buy your beanie in the bookstore or at the event. Bundle up, bring your blanket and join us for the Winter Wonderland fun this Wednesday.

PACK THEIR PLACE:  Maine West Athletics and West Side presents... PACK THEIR PLACE on Friday. For the first time in years, the varsity girls' basketball team and the varsity boys' basketball team will play in the same gym on the same night. In this friendly cross-town rivalry, come cheer on the Warriors at Maine East in a black out game.

BADMINTON: There will be a Badminton Open Gym for staff and students on Friday Morning from 6:30-7:30 in Spec Gym. Equipment will be provided. Gym shoes are required. Please enter the building through the Field House doors between 6:20-6:45.
