SPEECH TEAM: For the first time in several years, the Speech Team will be going to two separate tournaments. Tomorrow. JV will be heading to the UltiMUTT Dog Show tournament at John Hersey High School and the Varsity team will be competing at the Espresso Tournament in Elk Grove. BAKE SALE: Maine West’s chapter of National English Honor Society is hosting a bake sale today during 5th period lunches. We will have many different delicious desserts all for $2.00. Only cash will be accepted.
TOYS FOR TOTS: Balkan Club is collecting toys for Toys For Tots. The collection bin is in front of the Visual Art Wing at the end of C120. Please bring new and unwrapped toys to help families in need who can't afford gifts this season. The drive runs through the 13th.
CHILDREN'S BOOK DRIVE: Maine West’s chapter of National English Honor Society is having a Holiday Children’s Book Drive to support local children. The book drive will start on Monday and run through through Wednesday, December 18th. Please donate gently used books for children ages 3-10. Your English classes will have a box where you can bring your donated books. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Marshall. Thank you in advance for supporting a great cause
