VIDEO GAME CLUB:   Do you like to play video games on a big screen with the volume way up?  Then come and join video game club.  Video Game Club will meet after school Tuesday in the LRC. See Mr. Greenberg in the LRC for details.

CHESS CLUB:  Chess club will meet Tuesdays after school in the LRC. All students are welcome. Come for a casual game or for more serious competition--we are trying to form a team. See Mr. MacLowry in C208 with any questions.

SPEECH TEAM:  Speech Team will meet for drop-in sessions as a team at 3:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in room C210. Come when you can. We will be learning how to find our online materials and choosing our performance events. Questions? See Ms. Alverio or Mr. Rosenberg

FALL PLAY COSTUME CREW:  The Fall Play Costume Crew begins Tuesday. Meet backstage in the auditorium at 3:30. No experience required. Help with the costumes and makeup for the Fall Play. All students are welcome.

GIRLS BASKETBALL:  If you are interested in trying out for girls' basketball this winter, we will have open gyms to prepare for the season. Our first open gym will be on Tuesday from 3:40-4:40 in spec gym.

MOCK TRIAL:  Do you like to argue, want to learn about law and lawyers? Want to develop valuable skills and great friends for life? Come to the Mock Trial information meeting Wednesday after school in room C210. Here from current mock trial members on our award winning team and learn about how to join our team. Questions? Ask Mr Rosenberg.

WEST'S GOT TALENT:  It's time to get your act together! An informational meeting for Maine West's annual talent show will be held on Wednesday from 3 to 3:45 in R207 (the Choir Rm.) No previous experience necessary! Be it juggling, hip hop, lip syncing or magic tricks, we want to see you and your friends on the Maine West Stage!

ANIME CLUB: Do you find yourself arguing about who would win? Naruto or Goku? Gojo or Tanjiro?  Was Light Yagami really evil?  What's better? Sub or dub?  If these questions cross your mind, you should join Anime Club. We meet every Thursday in C205 after school. For more info, contact Mr. Khemani at hkhemani@maine207.org.

MODEL UN:  Want a first-hand look into what goes on in United Nations conference rooms around the globe?  Ever wondered how one of the largest and most important global organizations functions? If so, consider joining Model United Nations. Model UN is having its first meeting of the year Thursday at 7:45 a.m in C217.

NATIONAL ENGLISH HONOR SOCIETY:  The first meeting for all CURRENT members of National English Honor Society will be this Friday, September 16th at 7:45 AM in C201. Looking forward to seeing everyone and getting the year started!
