STUDENTS: Do you like hands-on, self-directed, practical learning experiences? If so, take clinical government this summer. The deadline has been extended to Friday, February 8. Applications are available through your U.S. History/American studies classes or in the Social Science office, Room C-220.

STUDENTS:  If you would like to volunteer for the Special Ed Basketball Tournament on Saturday, February 16, volunteer sheets are in C107. We need help with team buddies concessions, referees and scorekeepers. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Pettyjohn.

STUDENTS:  If you love to dance and want a chance to perform on the Maine West Stage, there will be a dance intramural coming up on Friday, February 22nd. Dancers will learn a hip hop dance to perform in the orchesis dance show.  Come be a part of this awesome event.  See you all on Friday, February 22.

ANIME CLUB:  Anime club will meet today after school in D105.

PING PONG:  Ping Pong intramural's are Monday and Wednesdays in H106 from 3:20 pm-5:30 pm.  It is open to any student that is interested in having some fun. No experience necessary. Feel free to bring a friend to play against or just hit around with. No equipment needed. You can come and go as you please.

SENIORS:  Are you considering attending Oakton Community College next Fall? Oakton staff will be in the CCRC on Friday during lunch periods to help you apply to Oakton Community College or answer any questions you have. Registration is required.  Please check your email for the RSVP form or see Mr. Dailey to sign up.

BOYS TENNIS:  Any boy interested in playing tennis this spring should plan on attending a brief meeting after school today. Please meet in B-215 at 3:25 pm on Thursday to discuss the start of the season. If you are unable to attend, please see Mr. Hauenstein in B-215 before Thursday.

ALL ATHLETES:  Registration for Spring Sports is now open. Most sports begin on Monday, February 25th. EVERYONE must have a current physical on file with the Athletic Office and be registered in "8 to 18" before being allowed to tryout for a sport.  After completing the 8 to 18 registration, you will receive an email telling you when and where to meet for your sports' tryouts.
