STUDENTS:  Today is the second blood drive of the school year. Please make sure you come to
C-wing gym at your sign up time and bring your school ID. If you didn't sign up but want to donate, stop by C-wing gym to see if space is available. Help save lives today by donating!

STUDENTS:  MCYAF is going to start preparation for the 2019 Town Hall Meeting on Sunday, January 20th at 1 pm at Maine South in the Principals Conference Room. This year's topic will be marijuana because of the possible legalization of recreational marijuana in Illinois. We welcome all levels (8th -12th grade) of students to participate in this project and students can earn a minimum of 20 service hours.  Any interested student should attend the first meeting on Jan 20th or contact Dr. Teri Collins at 847-858-7090.

BOARD GAME CLUB:  Board Game Club will meet Wednesday after school in room B109. All are welcome to come and play.

STUDENT COUNCIL:  Student Council will meet during all lunch periods today in L101. Please join us during 5X, 5Y, or 5Z as we plan for second semester events. It's never too late to join and we encourage everyone to bring a friend.

PI SIGMA PI:  Pi Sigma Pi will meet Friday morning at 7:20 in C201 to discuss t-shirts and our upcoming field trip to Medieval Times.

STUDENTS: From January 14 through March 22, the fitness center will be open to all students on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:00-7:30 am and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:00 pm on regular school days. Due to the start of the track season, after school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the fitness center will only be open to athletes who are accompanied by a coach.

MUSIC APPRECIATION SOCIETY:  The Maine West Music Appreciation Society will be meeting in the LRC TODAY at 3:30. Please bring in your favorite music to play for your fellow Warriors and discuss. We'll be playing new and old hits and getting a little loud in the LRC.

SENIORS:  Do you still need money for college? Come learn about what scholarships are available and how you can apply for them. Mr. Dailey will be running Scholarship Workshops on January 22 and 23 during 3x, 4x, 5x, and 6x. Before and after school sessions will be available as well.
