STUDENTS: Interested in the career field of Cosmetology? An admissions rep from the Aveda Institute in Chicago will be in the CCRC today during 2nd period. Please stop by the CCRC to get your College Visit pass from Mr. Dailey so that you can attend.
STUDENTS: The National English Honor Society is hosting a book drive to support our local Toys for Tots. Please donate new or gently used books for children ages 5-12 through Friday, December 14th. Drop-off locations are in the LRC and in front of the student cafeteria. Thank you for your support.
BOWLING: There will be a meeting today after school for anyone interested in bowling for Maine West in the IHSA state competition in January. The meeting will take place in A209 at 3:25 after school and will last no more than 15 minutes. If you cannot make the meeting, please see Mr. Murin for details.
ACCOUNTING CLUB MEMBERS: Our next meeting is Tuesday, December 11 from 7:00-7:30 a.m. in D112. Please pass the two IRS exams (Ethics & Intake/Interview/Quality Review) by this meeting. We will take our yearbook photo and distribute the training booklet for the Basic Tax Exam.
DECA: Our December DECA meeting will be Wednesday, December 12 at 7:00 a.m. in D112. We will discuss testing for regional competition, distribute field trip forms for regional competition and finalize written events for state competition. All members who want to qualify for state competition must submit outlines and market research plans before the meeting.
