The IHSA Football Playoffs return to Des Plaines for a third consecutive season! Maine West will be hosting Downers Grove North today at 7 pm.  All tickets will be $5  for this IHSA Post Season Event & No Activity Passes can be accepted.  Presale tickets are available in the Bookstore!  Come support your Three-Time CSL North Champions!  Go Warriors!  

WRESTLING:  Registration for wrestling is now open. You can sign up on the Athletics website. Come to open mat in the wrestling room, G116, after school on Tuesday and Thursday next week.

GYMNASTICS:  If you are interested in gymnastics there is open gym November 4, 6, 7, 8 from 4:00-5:30 pm in A-Wing gym.  Tryouts are November 11 from 3:45-6:00 pm in A-wing gym. You must be registered on 8to18 and have an updated physical. If you are still participating in another sport, please contact Coach Harrison as soon as possible.

BOYS BOWLING:  If you are interested in boys bowling, there will be an informational meeting on Monday November 4th after school in B-215.

ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB:  Please join environmental club after school on Monday in A104. We will be designing club shirts and discussing our future plans.

Some supplies that are needed are: paper, pencils, pens, dictionaries, workbooks, calculators, art supplies, old backpacks and more. To donate, please place your items in bins that are located in the library and in front of the student cafe.

Red ribbon week brings awareness to living a healthy lifestyle and making alternative choices to using drugs and/or alcohol.  Our annual red ribbon walk/run will take place all day Tuesday during PE periods. Please wear red to show your support and dress warm for the weather!

EPSORTS:  Come to B107 after school on Wednesday if you want to play in the new North Suburban Esports League. We're playing Super Smash, Overwatch, Rocket League, and League of Legends against teams from 5 other suburban schools. We'd love to have you as part of the team!

MOVIE CLUB:  Movie club will be showing its annual Halloween movie after school on Friday in the little theater. It is the sequel to a movie so scary, so thrilling, that we cannot even say its name.

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD:  Science Olympiad will meet after school in B113 this Thursday.

ATHLETES:  Registration for winter sports is now open. All athletes MUST have an updated physical on file with the Athletic Office as well as be registered on the 8 to 18 website. No exceptions. Don't wait until the last minute, some tryouts begin on Monday.
