STUDENTS:  It is time for the LRC's annual Withdrawn Book Event! Come browse the tables for a variety of titles in Literature, History and Fiction. We are working to make room for newer, updated titles and we want these books to find a good home. We will be hosting a preview of all of the available titles Friday, May 10th. Come and see what might be the perfect addition to your classroom or home libraries, art rooms, etc.

SENIORS: Today is the last day to purchase your senior prom tickets.  The tickets cost $60 payable with cash or credit card. You must have your ID with you to purchase tickets. SENIORS: Prom tickets are now on sale in the bookstore for $60 payable with cash or credit card. You must have your ID with you to purchase tickets. No tickets will be sold after this Friday, May 10.  Outside dates must be approved by the Dean's Office prior to ticket purchase.  Make sure to indicate if you or your date need a vegetarian meal at the time of purchase.

Summer break is slowly approaching, so get your running shoes on and get ready to hit the road.  We will be holding a Girls’ Cross Country meeting on Tuesday, May 14th directly after school in Coach Regalado’s room, E-105. If you plan to be on the Cross country team next fall, you need to attend this brief meeting. Bring friends for a chance to win cool swag!  If you cannot make it, email Coach Regalado now!

CONGRATULATIONS:  Congratulations to Girls Water Polo. The lady Warriors defeated Glenbrook South 8 to 6 to finish 3rd place in the CSL Tournament of 11 teams. This is the best finish a Maine West team has ever placed in this tournament.

STUDENTS:  Today is the day! The Warrior Challenge takes place in Spec gym after school this afternoon. Grab a friend, put on your gym shoes, and make your way to the gym to show us your rad badminton skills. Play singles or doubles against our badminton players. $3 per game. Win the match and get $1 back. The challenge is on!

Win the game and you get $1 returned to you. Were you an All-Area PE badminton player? Do you want to get your skills ready for the summer outdoor backyard badminton games? This is your chance! CONGRATULATIONS:  Congratulations to DECA member Bailey Saunders for being a national finalist in the Business Growth Plan Event at DECA National competition this past week in Orlando, FL. What an amazing accomplishment. We are proud of you, Bailey!

CONGRATULATIONS:  Congratulations to Girls Water Polo again. Anastasiya Sahayda scores a crucial goal at the end of the third quarter and the lady Warriors go on to defeat last year's 3rd in State Loyola Academy team, 8 to 4. JV was also victorious versus Loyola in their last game of the season.

STUDENTS:  The badminton team's annual Warrior Challenge fundraiser is coming on Monday, May 6th. It runs from 3:30-5:30 pm in Spec Gym. This is your opportunity to challenge a badminton player from our team to a game to see where you stand. Were you king or queen of the court in your PE class?
