INSTITUTE DAY - STUDENT'S NOT IN ATTENDANCE TODAY


WRESTLING:  Wrestling is having their first meeting of the season after school on Tuesday in E107. Please come with any questions you might have and bring a friend.

STUDENT VOICE:  The next Student Voice Council meeting is Wednesday morning at 7:00 in D105. We will be planning our Season of Service and finding ways to give back to Maine West and the Des Plaines community. Come for breakfast and 25 spirit points.

BADMINTON:  We will have a Badminton Open Gym Friday Morning from 6:30-8:00 in Spec Gym. Equipment will be provided. Gym shoes are required. Please enter the building through the Field House door 34c between 6:20-6:45.

SOLES FOR SOULS FUNDRAISER:  Key Club is collecting new and gently used shoes/boots for those in need. Please drop your donations in the green gurney in the front rotunda. Our collection will end on November 21.

Come experience the amazing array of talents at Maine West, including Mariachi, live bands, cultural dances, vocal acts and our very own Orchestra Pit. Performances are Thursday, November 13 and Friday, November 14 from 7 to 9. Tickets are $7 for students and $12 for adults and may be purchased online or at the door. Costume Contest Time.  Show off your costume in the library, TODAY. Come by and we will take your picture and post it on our Instagram to win awesome prizes. The costume with the most likes takes home a gift card and a goody bag.
How to enter:
1. Come to the library and get your photo taken

Want to help raise money for a great cause — and maybe take a pie to the face while you’re at it?   Thursday during all lunch periods, students will have the chance to pie a varsity athlete for charity.  If you’re up for the challenge, sign up today.
