We celebrate World Languages this week.

SPEECH TEAM: The Speech Team competed in the UltiMUTT Dog Show at Hersey High School this Saturday. Students performed well in a highly competitive tournament. This Saturday they will be competing in their first varsity tournament, Pirate's Booty at Palatine High School. IMPROV NIGHT: Don't miss Maine West’s first Improv Night of the season. Come see the amazing, unscripted and hilarious talents of our very own Improv Warriors. The event will take place on Wednesday in R207 (the Choir Rm.) at 6 pm. Admission is $3 for students, $5 for adults and concessions are $2 each. All proceeds benefit the Drama Club

BAKE SALE: The National English Honor Society will be hosting a holiday bake sale on Friday during 5th period lunches. All cookies, brownies, cakes and other baked goods will be sold for $2.00. CASH ONLY. All proceeds will go to a good cause.
THRIFT CLUB: Maine West’s newest club, thrift club, will be having their first informational meeting on Tuesday. Come to the Library after school Tuesday to learn more.
