BADMINTON: There will be a Badminton Team Informational Meeting today at 3:20 in room E105. All Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior girls interested in trying out for the team on March 2nd should attend. The meeting will be over by 4:00.  If you have any questions, please contact Coach Butterfield(Math Teacher), Coach McCluskey(Health and Wellness Teacher), or ask in the Athletic Office.

MU ALPHA THETA:  Mu Alpha Theta is meeting today at 3:00 in A201. We will be taking our yearbook picture. It's ok to leave for another activity right after the picture.

PI SIGMA PI:  All Pi Sigma Pi members are asked to help with our 4th Annual Charity Bake Sale benefitting Feed My Starving Children. Sign-up on Google Classroom and we will have a very important meeting Wednesday morning at 7:45 in C204. Email Ms. Lanham or Ms. Murray with questions. We need EVERYONE'S help to make this a success.

WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT CLUB:  The Women's Empowerment Club will meet for the first time this semester on Thursday morning. The meeting will be held at 8:00 in the CCRC. Reach out to Ms. Hart or Ms. Nelson for more details.

WESTERNER: Do you like talking about sports, pop culture, student life or current issues? The Westerner may have a place for you on its award-winning newspaper staff. Applications for the 2026-2027 Westerner staff are available now through Wednesday. The Westerner is looking for writers, photographers, artists and editors to join our team. BOYS WATER POLO:  Are you interested in joining the Boys' Water Polo team this spring? Please join us for a preseason meeting on Monday, February 2 in A207 to go over important registration details.  We will meet from 3:00 to 3:15 and this meeting is required for anyone planning to participate. NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 23, 2026

District 207 has made the decision not to have school on Friday, January 23, 2026 due to the severe cold weather that is forecast.

All afterschool activities are also cancelled including practices, rehearsals, games, performances and meetings. Based upon the forecast, the plan is that events scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026 will be held.

BADMINTON:  Badminton Open Gym is cancelled for Friday. See you on January 30.

KRISPY KREME DONUT SALES: The Principal's Leadership Team is selling Krispy Kreme donuts today for only $1. Find a member of the team this morning and buy yours while they last.

BLOOD DRIVE:  Please join us for the Early Spring Blood Drive today in Spec Gym Foyer from 8:30-2:30. You can schedule via the QR codes posted in the hallways. Students who are 16 will need consent from a parent or guardian. Students may only donate during lunch, PE or free period and each donor will receive 25 spirit points.

If you want to learn more and are interested in becoming part of the IHSA Group Interpretation team, come to Room C211 right after school at 3:15. We’ll be discussing our upcoming season and our show, A League of Their Own. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or brand new to the stage, we want you in the lineup.
