BADMINTON: Friday morning at 6:30 there will be an open gym for badminton in the spec gym. Everyone is invited. Any girls interested in playing badminton this spring need to signup on the Maine West Athletic page and be sure to have a current physical in the Athletic Office.
SOFTBALL: There are open gyms for softball on Monday evenings from 6-8 and hitting practice Wednesday and Friday mornings 6:30-7:30. For questions, see Coach Dvorak or Coach Addante. If you are interested in coming out for softball and are not in our google classroom please email one of the coaches.
BALKAN CLUB: Balkan club will meet after school today in C120. We will be discussing the cultural fest.
PSYCHOLOGY CLUB: Are you addicted to your phone? Let's talk about it! Psychology Club is meeting after school Friday in Room C214. The topic is cell phones - why we love them and why we can't let go of them. Everyone is welcome!

BLACK EXCELLENCE IS EVERYWHERE: To celebrate Black excellence in our community, District 207's black cultural clubs and career services is hosting the Black Excellence Is Everywhere event here at Maine West on Thursday, February 8. GIRLS WATER POLO: Girls considering joining the 6 straight CSL North Conference Champions Water Polo team should come to D113 on Friday February 9 for an organizational meeting. All levels of experience are welcome. Season begins February 26.
VOTER REGISTRATION: Care about the environment, civil rights, your future? Then, vote! We will be registering students to vote at Maine West on February 8 and 9. This is an election year for President and Congress, with the primaries in March and the general election in November. You are eligible to vote in the upcoming March and November elections if you: will be 18 by November 5 and are a U.S. citizen. Volunteers from Action Ridge will be in the Library on Thursday, February 8 and Friday, February 9 from 9-2 to help students register.
