FALL PLAY PERFORMANCE:  This year's fall play, "THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK" is coming up. Don't miss this gripping, true-life account of a young Jewish girl who goes into hiding, attempting to escape the horrors of Nazi occupation during World War II. Performances run today, Friday and Saturday at 7pm in the Maine West Auditorium. Tickets are $7 for students and $12 for adults and can be purchased online and at the door.

KEY CLUB:  There is a Key Club meeting after school today in E105. We will be making Gratitude Letters to put in Thanksgiving Baskets for Homeless Vets, discussing the Global Leadership Certificate and planning activities for Key Club Week in November.

ANIME CLUB:  Do you find yourself arguing about who would win? Yuji Itadori or Denji?
Was Light Yagami really evil?  What's better? Sub or dub? Join anime club today after school in D113.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY:  NHS Class of 2024 will meet in the auditorium Monday morning at  7:45.  Reach out to Mr. Depcik before the meeting if you are unable to attend.

CHOIR KARAOKE PARTY:  All students are invited to attend a Karaoke party hosted by the choir program after school on Wednesday from 3:30-5 pm in the Lower Commons. Please join us for some food, entertainment and an all around great time.

POETRY CLUB:  Are you and your friends pros at prose?  In your free time, do you often rhyme?  Do you find yourself writing out what you feel? Are you a poet and you had no prior inclination to coming to that conclusion whatsoever? If so, you should join Poetry Club. Poetry Club meets after school on Tuesday in A218. For more info, contact Mr. Khemani.

MU ALPHA THETA:  Are you a sophomore, junior or senior looking to join the Math National Honors Society? Check your eligibility and find out how to register for Mu Alpha Theta by scanning the QR codes on the fliers in your math classroom and on the bulletin boards around the school. Registrations must be completed by October 30th. New members need to register AND pay a $10 fee in the bookstore. Seniors have the opportunity to purchase an honors cord to wear during graduation for $6 in the bookstore. We are not able to accept late registrations or orders. Contact Mr. Smith with questions.

FINE ARTS MEDIA CAREER DAY:  The Fine Arts Department at Maine West will be hosting a Media Career Day open to ALL students on Saturday, October 21st, from 8:00am until 12:30pm. Students will visit WGN studios in Chicago and hear from a panel of industry professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for any Maine West student to learn about careers in the media industry. See Ms. Fisher in R209 for a permission slip.

WEST'S GOT TALENT:  The judges have spoken, the cast has been chosen and the talent is immense.  The West's Got Talent Show is well underway.  Make your plans to come and see the most anticipated show of the year.  Friday and Saturday October 27th & 28th.  Mark your calendar and tell your friends.  You won't want to miss it.
