T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST: Students in the Advanced Digital Art class designed Maine West t-shirts. YOU get to vote for the design that will be produced and sold in the bookstore. HALLOWEEN HORROR FILM FESTIVAL: WMTH is hosting a Horror Film Festival open to ALL students tomorrow during A, B and C lunches in R209. Bring your friends to watch spooky movies and enjoy free treats from La Esperanza Bakery.MU ALPHA THETA: Are you a sophomore, junior or senior looking to join the Math National Honors Society? Check your eligibility and find out how to register for Mu Alpha Theta by scanning the QR codes on the fliers in your math classroom and on the bulletin boards around the school. Registrations must be completed by October 30th. New members need to register AND pay a $10 fee in the bookstore. LATINX LEADERS CAREER PANEL: On Friday, November 3rd, the CCRC and Latinx Cultural Club "Raíces" will be hosting the Latinx Leaders Career Panel. Come and celebrate Latinx success with us and hear from various Latinx industry professionals and community leaders. This event is open to all Latinx identifying students. WAPA: WAPA is sponsoring a Turkey Trot November 13th from 3:30-5 in the spec foyer. Running, trotting and walking are welcomed. This event is open to anyone interested. We are asking for a $10 donation or $3 and 5 canned food items to be donated. All proceeds will be donated to The Des Plaines Self Help Closet and Food Pantry. There will be a raffle, hot chocolate, turkey costumes and prizes. If you have questions please ask Mrs. Voigt or Mr. OBrill.
