GYMNASTICS: Interested in learning gymnastics? Have you mastered how to walk across the beam and want to learn more? Come check out the gymnastics team. Open gymnastics is after school today in A-wing gym. No experience required. Remember to get your physical and sign up through athletics to join the team. Season starts November 6th. CHOIR KARAOKE PARTY: All students are invited to attend a Karaoke party hosted by the choir program after school in the Lower Commons. Please join us for some food, entertainment and an all around great time.

MU ALPHA THETA: Are you a sophomore, junior or senior looking to join the Math National Honors Society? Check your eligibility and find out how to register for Mu Alpha Theta by scanning the QR codes on the fliers in your math classroom and on the bulletin boards around the school. Registrations must be completed by October 30th. New members need to register AND pay a $10 fee in the bookstore. Seniors have the opportunity to purchase an honors cord to wear during graduation for $6 in the bookstore. We are not able to accept late registrations or orders. Contact Mr. Smith with questions.
FINE ARTS MEDIA CAREER DAY: The Fine Arts Department at Maine West will be hosting a Media Career Day open to ALL students on Saturday, October 21st, from 8:00am until 12:30pm. Students will visit WGN studios in Chicago and hear from a panel of industry professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for any Maine West student to learn about careers in the media industry. See Ms. Fisher in R209 for a permission slip.
