HOMECOMING DANCE: Tickets for Homecoming Dance go on sale today. You can purchase tickets online or in the bookstore for $30. You will need your ID to purchase a ticket. The bookstore is not able to scan ID's from phones.
SPANISH HONORS SOCIETY: An informational meeting for any Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors interested in joining the Spanish Honors Society will be held on Tuesday at 3:00 PM in room A207. All requirements, application information, and plans for the year will be provided.

PI SIGMA PI: Pi Sigma Pi will meet Thursday morning at 7:45 in the Lower Commons. We will take our club yearbook picture and hear speeches from officer candidates. Candidates, make sure your statements are submitted to Google Classroom no later than Tuesday.
VIDEO GAME CLUB: The Video Game Club will meet in the back of the library after school Wednesday. Come on out and show us your driving, smashing or dancing skills.
COMPUTER SCIENCE CLUB: The Computer Science Club will have its first meeting after school Thursday in room B211. We have many exciting activities planned for this year, including learning to code in Python, learning about breadboards and creating our own games.
MAINE WEST UNPLUGGED: Maine West Unplugged will meet in the Library after school Thursday. Bring your acoustic instrument and come play with your future possible bandmates.
ENGLISH NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY: The next meeting for all current members of National English Honor Society will be this Friday, September 22nd at 7:45 AM in the back of the LRC. We will be discussing ideas for projects and fundraisers for the 2023-2024 school year. Please see any additional information posted on our Google Classroom page.
SPEECH TEAM: Would you like to have more confidence, find your voice or be a more radiant human? Then join the Maine West Speech Team. Speech Team is a great way to gain your confidence, express yourself, and transform into an amazing human, while having a blast at the same time. FINE ARTS MEDIA CAREER DAY: The Fine Arts Department at Maine West will be hosting a Media Career Day open to ALL students on Saturday, October 21st, from 8:00am until 12:30pm. Students will visit WGN studios in Chicago and hear from a panel of industry professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for any Maine West student to learn about careers in the media industry. See Ms. Fisher in R209 for a permission slip.
