STUDENTS: The Career & Tech Ed department is hosting our first ever GooseChase Challenge today. All you have to do is download the GooseChase App and follow the Maine West CTE department on Instagram. You will have the chance to win a prize after completing various tasks around the school through the app. We will post participation codes on Maine West's CTE instagram before school, beginning of 2nd period, beginning of 4th period, beginning of 8th period and right after school on Friday, November 12th. SENIOR CLASS COUNCIL: Senior class council is meeting Tuesday, November 16 from 3:30-4:00 in C107. We will be planning a winter event for seniors. Come and share your ideas.
PI SIGMA PI: Pi Sigma Pi will host a round table with the new Des Plaines police chief. This is a great opportunity for you to get to know the people who are here to serve and protect you, as well as ask any questions or voice any concerns you might have. Come brainstorm questions with us on Tuesday, November 16th after school in C-207.
STUDENTS: Is your math class not adding up? Is your English class lost in translation? Has your science class turned into a bad experiment? Don't worry. Help is here. COACH tutors are available before school every day in the LRC. Just stop in and look for the COACH signs. Also, freshmen and sophomores, most study halls have a COACH tutor to help as well. Be sure to ask your study hall supervisor if you would like to meet with a COACH tutor.
