STUDENTS: Most students do not realize they may have had federal and state income taxes taken out of their paychecks and that they can get that money back by filing a tax return. The Maine West Accounting Club has several students who are IRS certified tax assistants who can meet virtually or in-person to help students file their tax returns and get money back from the government. The federal deadline was extended to May 17, but the state deadline is still April 15, which is only a few weeks away. STUDENTS: Are you struggling with a class or an assignment? COACH tutors are available to help. COACH tutors are trained to work with you so you can improve your learning and improve your grades. Tutors are available Monday through Friday from 3:30-4:30 though this link or by appointment. Many of our tutors speak languages other than English for those students who are still learning English.
