Good luck to the company of SHREK as they open Maine West's musical this weekend. Performances are tonight and tomororw night in the auditorium at 7 pm. Student tickets cost $7 dollars. We hope to see you in our big bright beautiful world.
STUDENTS: For 60 years, the Westerner student newspaper has been the voice of students at Maine West. And now, you can be a part of it. No matter whether it's basketball regionals or DECA competitions, March Madness or the upcoming musical, your quirkiest stories or your most shocking experiences -- the Westerner covers it. STUDENTS: Maine West's annual dodgeball tournament will take place February 26th at 6:00 pm in C wing gym. Create your team of 6 and register in the bookstore. The cost this year is only $10 per team. If there are any questions, contact Mr. York.
STUDENTS: Volunteers are needed to help with our annual Christian Volkmann Basketball tournament on Saturday, February 22. We need help with concessions, team buddies, refereeing and score keeping. Please stop by C102 to pick up a form. Any questions, please see Mrs. Pettyjohn.
SENIORS: Please stop by the registrar's office in B102 to verify how your name should appear on your diploma. It should match the name on your birth certificate. The roster will be available today through Friday, March 6.
GIRLS WATER POLO: If you are interested in joining the girls water polo team, there will be an informational meeting in room D114 after school on Monday, February 24.
BOARD GAME CLUB: Board Game club will meet on Wednesday, February 26 at 3:30 in B109.
MOVIE CLUB: Movie Club will be showing the smash hit, Frozen 2 this Friday after school in L101.
