The LRC Performance Series welcomes all performers to show your talent to a captive LRC audience on designated mornings before class begins. Please see Mr. Greenberg in the LRC for more information.
STUDENTS: Have you ever wanted to sing the national anthem at a school assembly or football game? Now's your chance! Auditions for national anthem singers will be held after school on Wednesday, August 28th from 3:30-4:30 pm in the choir room, R207. Please see Mr. Schiffer with any additional questions.
NATIONAL ENGLISH HONOR SOCIETY: Sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in applying to the National English Honor Society can find the application on the Maine West English Department page. Applications are due on Friday, August 30th. Email Mrs. Marshall with any questions.
MOVIE CLUB: Come one, come all! Movie Club will have its first meeting today in the Little theater (L101). We will be showing the smash hit "Avengers: Endgame". Nothing can prepare you for the end.
VIDEO GAMERS: Video Game Club will meet Tuesday, August 27 in the LRC at 3:30 pm. This will be an informational meeting to let you know how the club operates and what's expected as members of the club.
BOARD GAME CLUB: Board Game Club will have its first meeting of the year on Wednesday, August 28 in room B109 at 3:30 pm. Come for games, food, and fun!
DECA: Attention all M.W. students interested in learning and applying skills related to careers and business. The Maine West business organization, DECA, will have their first meeting on Thursday, August 29th before school from 7:45-8:10 in Room D112. During this informational meeting, we will explain what DECA is and why it matters to you, discuss our calendar of events and answer your questions. There is no obligation to join, just come to learn more. We hope to see new and returning DECA members on Thursday morning at 7:45 in D112.
