STUDENTS: There will be a dodgeball tournament February 20th at 6:00 pm. Sign up and pay in the bookstore by February 18th. You need 6 players per team and the cost is $5 per player. If you have any questions contact Mr. York.
STUDENTS: If you would like to volunteer for the Special Ed Basketball Tournament on Saturday, February 16, volunteer sheets are in C107. We need help with team buddies concessions, referees and scorekeepers. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Pettyjohn.
STUDENTS: The National Honor Society is holding a toiletry drive for Journeys, a local organization that helps the homeless in our community. Please bring in toiletries such as shampoos, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash and socks. The donation bin is in the rotunda. Let’s make a difference and help those in need in our community by bringing in toiletries.
STUDENTS: Do you love to dance? Do you love to perform? Come to the Intramural dance workshop on Friday, February 22nd. You will learn a hip hop dance to perform in the Orchesis Show this year. We will meet in the dance studio (G-112) after school on Friday the 22nd.
STUDENTS: If you did not have a chance to meet with Oakton last Friday, Oakton will be back in the CRCC this Friday during lunch periods to help you apply to Oakton or answer any questions. To register, see Mr. Dailey in the CRCC or check your email for the sign-up form.
AP STUDENTS: Reminder that the deadline to pay for your AP tests in the bookstore is March 8th. If you misplaced your letter with the AP tests you are scheduled to take, the bookstore has copies. We encourage all of our AP students to take the AP test for the class (es) they are enrolled.
ACCOUNTING CLUB: Do you have a job? If so, did you know that you may entitled to an income tax refund? Let Accounting Club help you file your free tax return and get your hard earned money back! Sign up for an appointment with a certified tax assistant through the form on our Accounting Club website under the activities tab.
MOVIE CLUB: Movie club will be showing "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" this Friday after school in L101, the Little Theater.
ALL ATHLETES: Registration for Spring Sports is now open. Most sports begin on Monday, February 25th. EVERYONE must have a current physical on file with the Athletic Office and be registered in "8 to 18" before being allowed to tryout for a sport. After completing the 8 to 18 registration, you will receive an email telling you when and where to meet for your sports' tryouts.
