STUDENTS: From January 14 through March 22, the fitness center will be open to all students on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:00-7:30 am and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:00 pm on regular school days. Due to the start of the track season, after school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the fitness center will only be open to athletes who are accompanied by a coach.
STUDENTS: Today is the official sign up day for the blood drive. The sign up table is outside of the cafeteria near the vending machines. The blood drive is on Tuesday, January 15th from 9:30-2:30 pm. Any 16 years old needs a permission slip signed by a parent. We hope you start the new year out right by helping save lives!
AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE CLUB: The American Sign Language Club will meet Thursday morning at 7:45 in the LRC in front of the fireplace. There will be food and new signs for the new year. We will also be planning and preparing for our story hours at our local libraries.
HARRY POTTER CLUB: The Harry Potter club will meet Thursday after school in the LRC in front of the fireplace. Come chat about the latest Fantastic Beasts movie.
BOOK CLUB: Book Club will meet Friday after school from 3:30-4:15 pm in the LRC in front of the fireplace. Please come join us for snacks and a chat about the books you read over break.
BOYS AND GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD: The Track & Field season begins on Monday, January 14th at 3:30 for both boys and girls. We'll meet in the indoor track immediately after school. Any athlete interested must complete the 8 to 18 registration via the Maine West Athletic web page AND have an up-to-date physical on file. Physical forms should be brought to the Athletic office.
BADMINTON: The first open gym opportunity for badminton will happen this Friday morning in spec gym from 6-7:15 am. Enter through the spec gym lobby doors. Be sure to have appropriate shoes for the gym. Grab a friend and come play!
