FRESHMEN: Today during your study/options 4X or 6X you need to report to your Counselor's Advisory Room for a discussion on managing stress. Attendance will be taken. This is not only a mandatory meeting BUT a wonderful opportunity to talk about stressors and learn techniques to help us mange them throughout our lives.
MOVIE CLUB: Movie Club will meet Friday after school in L101, the little theater. We will be watching The House with a Clock in Its Walls. You're invited somewhere timeless.
STUDENTS: Interested in the career field of Cosmetology? An admissions rep from the Aveda Institute in Chicago will be at Maine West in the CCRC on Thursday December 6th during 2nd period. Please stop by the CCRC to get your College Visit pass from Mr. Dailey so that you can attend.
STUDENTS: The National English Honor Society is hosting a book drive to support our local Toys for Tots. Please donate new or gently used books for children ages 5-12 starting today through Friday, December 14th. Drop-off locations are in the LRC and in front of the student cafeteria. BOWLING: There will be a meeting Thursday, December 6th, after school for anyone interested in bowling for Maine West in the IHSA state competition in January. The meeting will take place in
