AP STUDENTS:  All AP students taking an AP exam must attend a pre-bubbling session tomorrow, April 12th during late arrival in the auditorium. If your last names begin with A-L, please attend the 7:30 AM session. If your last names begins with M-Z, please attend the 8:10 AM session. Please be on time and bring a sharpened #2 pencil. Mechanical pencils are not allowed.

It is important that you attend your assigned session. If you cannot attend your assigned pre-bubbling session, please email Ms. Bader or stop by and see her in the counseling office.

STUDENTS:  AP t-shirts are in. Go to the bookstore to get yours soon. The cost is $15 and quantities are limited. It will be great if all of you can wear your AP T-shirt during AP testing and during our celebration at the end of AP testing.

STUDENTS:  Tickets are now on sale for Maine West's spring play, "Disassembly"! This dark comedy proves that, under the right circumstances, violence can take hold of just about anyone. If you enjoy irony, innuendo and want to witness the most epic fight sequence ever to grace the Maine West stage then come experience "Disassembly"! Performances run Thursday, April 20 at 4pm and Friday, April 21and Saturday, April 22 at 7pm. Tickets are only $5 for students and may be purchased in the Bookstore or at the door. Seating is limited so get your tickets today.

STUDENTS:  The fitness center will be open and available to students from 3:30pm-5pm on regular school days from now until final exams. Proper workout attire and student conduct are required.

STUDENTS:  Do you have what it takes to be a model? Come to our Maine West Model search today after school in the Little Theater (L101) where you will be auditioning to model either a tuxedo or prom dress in the Maine West fashion show.

STUDENTS: Capitol Forum is teaming up with Stand Up for Kids and collecting travel-sized toiletries like soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, feminine products, and individually-wrapped snack items from April 3-13.  Bring items to C-215 and contact Ms. Littlefield Lanham for more information.

STUDENTS:  Tech innovators club is meeting for this first time after school Thursday in D114. We will be creating apps, working on engineering problems and playing with technology. The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

STUDENTS:  Do you sing? Come audition for the Maine West Guitar Rock Show.  Songs from the 1970's through 2017 are listed on the E203 door.   Signup to audition on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday afterschool, April 18, 19 and 20.

STUDENTS: Have you completed one year of algebra or geometry with a 3.0+ GPA? If so, then you are eligible to join the National Math Honor Society: Mu Alpha Theta. Mu Alpha Theta hosts free math competitions, offers grants and scholarships and looks great on college applications. For members interested in joining us next school year, an informational meeting will be held on Friday, April 21 at 7:00 am in B201. If you have any questions, contact Mr. Smith.

JUNIORS: Prom tickets go on sale today after school. Tickets cost $30 in advance, $40 at the door.
