Also, there will be several colleges visiting:
2nd – Simpson College

Attention, Juniors! Before you know it, you’ll be filling out college applications! Do you know what a personal statement is? Have you ever seen sample topics of college admissions essays? What are some tips to help you get started?

Come to a college essay presentation! Get the information you need. An expert in the college admissions field will speak about writing the college essay.

Sessions will be held on Monday in L101 during 2nd and 3rd periods. If you have a class during those periods, get a “College Visitor Pass” from the CRC and have your teacher sign the pass ahead of time. This gives you permission to miss class and attend the program.

Many schools - including several of our own state universities - require essays as part of their applications. This will help you prepare. You can start on your essays this summer. Hope to see you on Monday in L101.
