MONDAY, MARCH 6, 2017

STUDENTS & STAFF:  We need you to do a little spring cleaning this week through Friday, March 10th.  We are collecting gently used items: clothing, housewares, books, furniture, etc. that your family no longer wants or needs that are in usable condition. Ask your parent/guardian BEFORE you donate any items.  We will be paid by the pound for all items in usable condition by SAVERS through their FUNDrive program. This is an easy way to make a difference without having to donate money.
All donations can be place in the blue bins by the main entrance or bus concourse."

STUDENTS:  The Maine West Job Fair is tomorrow Tuesday March 7th.  Check out the local employers who would love to hire you near the main entrance of the student cafe hallway during the lunch periods.

SENIORS:  All seniors graduating in May 2017 must come to the counselor's office to verify their name as it should appear on their diploma.  It should be the name on your birth certificate.  A roster will be available on a clipboard in the counselor's office.  Please initial next to your name.

STUDENT COUNCIL:  Please join us for our next Student Council Meeting on Tuesday morning at 7:10 AM in A201. If you are running for office you must be in attendance and turn in your completed petition. We have a few more things to discuss for the end of the year,

Hey, Juniors and Seniors! It’s COLLEGE PANEL WEEK! We will have over 40 colleges visiting. This is a great opportunity to hear from numerous colleges in one period.

Juniors, are you starting your college search? Start learning about colleges you might be interested in by hearing from the college representatives. They are the experts! Students are welcome to come any and all periods. However, if you have a class, you must first get permission from your teacher and get a College Visitor Pass signed by that teacher.

Some of the schools that will be here today include Marquette, Central Michigan, Michigan State, University of Iowa, Ohio State University, and many more! Come pick up a college panel pass from the CRC for the full schedule.

More panels will take place on Wednesday and Friday. Juniors are encouraged to attend at least one session!
