AP STUDENTS:  March 3rd is the deadline to pay for your AP tests in the bookstore. All AP students are expected to take the AP test for the class or classes they are currently taking. In addition, this year you have more reasons than ever to take the AP exams.

Your first AP test is only $15.
You will be exempt from the your AP class' final exam by taking the AP test.
Illinois schools will take scores of 3 and higher for credit.

PLEASE.. do not delay. Register and pay for your AP tests by Friday March 3rd in the bookstore.

SPANISH NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY:  There will be a Spanish National Honor Society meeting today after school and Thursday before school in A207. We will be planning for Foreign Language Week. Please try to attend one of the meetings.

SENIORS:  All seniors graduating in May 2017 must come to the counselor's office to verify their name as it should appear on their diploma.  It should be the name on your birth certificate.  A roster will be available on a clipboard in the counselor's office.  Please initial next to your name.

SOPHOMORES:  Your class T-Shirt is available for preorder this week in the bookstore. The cost is $15.00 and this year the shirt will be columbia blue and long sleeved. You can only order it until Friday of this week. Get your class shirt and show your support for the class of 2019!

STUDENTS:  Would you like to have lunch with Teddy and 9 of your friends? Buy a raffle ticket for $1 or buy 7 tickets for $5. One winner will be drawn on March 3, and he or she will have a free pizza lunch with 9 friends and hang out with Teddy. Get your tickets in the cafeteria from a member of SALT - the Student Activities Leadership Team.

SPRING PLAY AUDITIONS: Auditions for this year's Spring Play, "Disassembly" will be held after school today and Thursday, March 2 from 3:30 to 6:30. No experience? No problem! Anyone is welcome to audition and give it a try without obligation. Audition materials and sign up are available outside the FA office in E Wing. See Mr. Harmon if you have any questions.


SENIORS: Applications for our very own Maine West Scholarship Fund and Oakton Scholarships are now available in the CRC and on the Student Services website. If you plan on attending any post-secondary school in the fall after graduation, we encourage you to apply. All applications are due back by March 16th. If you have questions, email Mrs. Rey or Mr. Ebrahimi.


BOYS VOLLEYBALL:  There will be a brief informational meeting today in G102 right after school. If you haven't updated your physical or signed up for volleyball online, be sure to do so. Questions about physicals should go to the athletic office. If you have any other questions prior to the meeting, contact Coach Dean, Coach O'Brill or Coach Swenson.
