STUDENTS: Maine West's 2nd annual Dodge Ball Tournament will take place February 22nd at 6:00 pm in Spec Gym. There will be no divisions this year. Teams can be co-ed or non co-ed as well a mix of players from any class. You must form a team of 6 and the cost is $30 per team. All proceeds will benefit our school wide fundraiser St. Baldricks. If you are interested, please get the sign up form in the main office or bookstore. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, February 16th.

SENIORS: Applications for our very own Maine West Scholarship Fund and Oakton Scholarships are now available in the CRC and on the Student Services website. If you plan on attending any post-secondary school in the fall after graduation, we encourage you to apply. All applications are due back by March 16th. Good luck to the boys swimming and diving team as they compete in the CSL Championships this weekend. The JV Divers will compete at Maine East today at 3 followed by the JV swimmers at 6. Tomorrow the Varsity divers will compete at 8 followed by the swimmers at noon.
The Maine West Boys Varsity Track Team opened their season on Friday with a solid performance, finishing 2nd in a quad meet at Rolling Meadows. Top performers for the Warriors were Junior Quinn Clerkin who won the high jump, Senior Kevin Leon who dominated the 800 meter run and Junior Walter Hutt who finished 2nd in the shot put by ½ inch.
