The pull tab containers are filling up in the student cafe.  Our goal is a million tabs.  Drink. Pull. Drop.

Flannel Fridays are back for the month of February.  Hope to see your school spirit starting this Friday.

STUDENTS:  If you are interested in helping out with the school-wide fundraiser in any way, come to L101 after school today. Anyone who would like to help raise funds and organize events to help St. Baldrick's cure childhood cancer, stop by.

STUDENTS:  The winter formal is Saturday, February 4.  Tickets are $20 and $25 at the door.  You must present a different ID for each ticket purchased.

JUNIORS:  If you registered for the SAT prep courses at Maine West, the SAT Success prep courses will begin Monday February 13th. The rosters are now posted in the Student Services Department with room assignments.

ANIME CLUB:  Anime Club will meet this Thursday in room D105 after school.  See Mr. Kermend with any questions.

COLLEGE AND CAREER ANNOUNCEMENTS

SENIORS: Applications for our very own Maine West Scholarship Fund and Oakton Scholarships are now available in the CRC and on the Student Services website. If you plan on attending any post-secondary school in the fall after graduation, we encourage you to apply. All applications are due back by March 16th. If you have questions, email Mrs. Rey or Mr. Ebrahimi.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS

If you would like to volunteer for the Special Ed Basketball Tournament on February 18th, volunteer sheets are in C102. We need help with team buddies, concessions, referees and scorekeepers. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Pettyjohn.

Boys interested in playing baseball this spring, there will be an informational meeting today after school in B211. Have any questions, or cannot attend, look for coach Aguirre for more information.

Any boy interested in playing on the tennis team this spring should attend an informational meeting on Wednesday after school in B113. We will relay information pertinent to the start of the season.  It is critical that all players attend.  Please see Coach Swistak in B113 before Wednesday if you have a conflict.
