SOPHOMORE STUDENTS:  If you are interested in applying for the Junior Leader program, the active link to apply is on the Maine West Physical Education webpage. All applications must be submitted by Tuesday, January 31.

STUDENTS:  Do you have 6th or 7th period free?  Do you have a half period that's boring?  Get on the air live with WMTH radio.  Stop by R209 to get a radio application and you can DJ your own radio show.  See you on the radio!

STUDENTS:  The winter formal is quickly approaching.  The dance is on Saturday February 4th. This week only, tickets to the dance are on sale for $15. Next week, tickets will cost $20 and at the door they will cost $25. You must present a different ID for each ticket purchased.

STUDENTS:  "Student of the Quarter" pictures will be taken Friday at 2:45 pm in the auditorium.

STUDENTS:  The Fitness Center will be open in the morning from 6am to 7:30am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  It will be open in the afternoon from 3:30-5pm on Mondays and Thursdays from January 17th until March 17th due to the start of the indoor track season.

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the after school hours in the fitness center will be for athletes with a coach and open use of the facility will be in the mornings.

PING PONG:  If you are interested in playing ping pong, please come to room H106 on Monday, January 23 starting at 3:30 pm.  No experience necessary.  All skills levels welcome.  Equipment provided.

IT'S A STITCH:  It's A Stitch is cancelled today.  We will meet next Thursday after school.

PI SIGMA PI:  The field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry is this Sunday, January 22 from 9:00 to 3:15. We will meet in the bus concourse. You can see Mr. McClure or Mrs. Hendrickson for a permission slip. Permission slips must be turned into Mr. McClure or Mrs. Hendrickson by the end of the day TODAY. The trip is free, but you should bring $10 to $20 for lunch or additional attractions at the Museum.



If you would like to volunteer for the Special Ed Basketball Tournament on February 18th, volunteer sheets are in C102. We need help with team buddies, concessions, referees and scorekeepers. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Pettyjohn.
