PACE buses will run on a regular morning schedule according to our summer school calendar.  PACE buses will drop off at 7:45 am in the bus concourse and pick-up at 1:10 pm in the bus concourse.

There will be no special PACE bus pick up for those students done with summer school at 10:15 am.

STUDENTS: Athletic Physicals will be hosted On Friday, May 27th at 1 pm in the Spectator Gymnasium. All athletes who wish to participate in athletics next year must have an updated physical. Athletes are encouraged to sign up for an appointment in the bookstore. The cost of the physical is $15.00. Athletes must bring the parental permission slip and dress in athletic clothing at the time of their appointment.

STUDENTS: Thanks a million to all who have already applied to become a Warrior Pride mentors or leaders. You are going to make a HUGE difference at Maine West next year. If you were a mentor or leader in the past, please re-apply so that we have your current info and so we can order your shirt.

STUDENTS: The Dollars for Scholars Committee will be selling snacks and beverages on the days of final exams from 7:30 - 11:30 am in the student cafeteria. No other food service will be available. Prices range from 50 cents to 2 dollars and CASH ONLY will be accepted.

STUDENTS: Buy extra autograph pages for your yearbook in the Westerner newspaper office-- in A200 -- before or after school this week for only $1.50.

IMPORTANT PACE BUS INFORMATION FOR SUMMER SCHOOL: In order to get the student rate for summer school, any student using a Ventra bus card must register it in the bookstore. If your card is not registered, you will be charged full fare.

CONGRATULATIONS
:  Warriors' Girls Water Polo won their sectional game against Glenbrook South 9 to 6. They advance to the final four of the state sectionals play-offs. Gabby Fragale stepped up to score a hat trick of 3 goals, while Kristen Burger score 4.

CONGRATULATIONS:  Congratulations to senior, Maddie Bobinski for being the Sectional Champ in Discus with a distance of 118'5" and qualifying for the State Track and Field meet this weekend. Other medal winners were seniors Megan Centella and Megan Franke.

So if you currently do not have a MW parking pass AND you want to drive to school in the next few weeks, you must stop down to the Dean's office AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

CONGRATULATIONS
: Eight members of the math team competed at State on Saturday. The Freshmen team finished in 21st place on the Algebra 1 contest and Bhagirath Mehta placed 14th on the individual Geometry contest. Most exciting, our Junior-Senior 2-person Team of Haripriya and Bhagirath Mehta finished in 3rd place for the whole state. Well done math team!

CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to the JV boys volleyball team on winning the 2016 JV quad on Saturday. The warriors defeated Grayslake Central, Libertyville and Waukegan. The boys played outstanding. Be sure to congratulate them.

All the proceeds go to Special Olympics Illinois. Register in the bookstore before April 29 and you will get a free T-shirt on the day of the race.
