STUDENTS: This Friday stop by the front entrance, just outside the cafeteria, for a FREE hot chocolate with Dr. Haugan and many of our administrators. We will be serving hot chocolate from 7:15 to 7:40 am. Marshmallows and whipped cream included.  The winter assembly is later that day so you'll be warm and ready.

STUDENTS:  Gather your friends and have your picture taken with Santa and his elves THIS Friday in the cafeteria during all lunch periods. Pictures are only $2.00. A portion of the proceeds will help support the School Wide Fundraiser.

STUDENTS:  Capture the moment. Your Polaroid moment. Keep an eye out TODAY for Neli Peeva and Ivonne Sanchez. They will be taking pictures with a Polaroid camera in the halls and in the cafeteria before, during, and after school tomorrow. So, don’t forget to get a Polaroid picture with you and your friends for just $1!

STUDENTS:  The National Art Honor Society's jean drive will run through December 16.   Please place jeans in the bin across from the main office.

STUDENTS:  Send a Candy Cane Gram to that special someone. Just one dollar in the bookstore.

STUDENTS:  Classical guitarist extraordinaire GARRETT MORRISON will be playing in the LRC Performance Series on Wednesday, December 14 at 8 am. Garrett will be playing a selection of music from classics to modern pieces to holiday favorites. See you Wednesday.

STUDENTS:  A century old proverb said that “the pen is mightier than the sword.” Now is your chance to put power into your writing with Voice For the Nameless’s Write For Rights event. Stop by the LRC during your free period on Thursday, December 15th to write to one or more of the seven people who are victims of unjust imprisonment, harassment and torture, and we may see justice come, as we have seen in the past, with your own letters. It will be held in the front part of the LRC, near the fireplace, so bring your friends, write some letters, and maybe you can be the cause of justice.

DREAM TEAM/AFRICAN AMERICAN CLUB:  We are meeting Thursday right after school in R201. We will be discussing the Malcolm X book to read over break and ideas to start planning Black History month.

IT'S A STITCH:  It's a stitch will meet on Thursday after school in room A114.
