RED RIBBON WEEK IS HERE  Tomorrow is Twin Day! Come dressed as a twin with a friend and receive 5 spirit points. Also stop by the main office with your twin and see Mr. Aldworth to get Twinkies. After school, join us for kickboxing. Punch some pads and have a blast. Meet in the dance studio at 3:30. Just wear comfortable clothes and gym shoes. No experience required. 5 points for dressing up and 15 for kickboxing.

Attention goblins, ghouls, ghosts, zombies, princesses and all Halloween celebrants! The LRC is having a COSTUME CONTEST. Come to the LRC ANYTIME on Monday, October 31 and get your picture taken for our Instagram account (@mwlibrary), then get your friends to "like" your photo. Whoever gets the most likes WINS a $25 Amazon gift card.

STUDENTS:  Pass/Fail forms will be available from today through November 4 in the Student Services Office, Room B102. Forms are due Friday, November 4, 2016.

STUDENTS:  Competitive dance season is here. Tryouts for the warriorettes dance team will be today and Thursday, October 27 at 3:30 in the dance room. Be sure to register online and turn in your physical the athletic office. Your physical must by turned into the athletic office to be eligible for tryouts. If you have further questions, please see coach Marchionna.

JUNIORS:  If you are close to or have a weighted, cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher at the end of this fall semester, you are eligible to apply for NHS in January 2017. Please come to an informational meeting  today at 3:20 pm in L101.   Please check your email for this information as well.

SENIORS: Herff Jones will be here to take orders for graduation announcements and senior products including class rings on Friday during lunch periods outside the cafeteria. If you did not complete the cap and gown measurements form during lunch periods on October 21, you can complete the measurement form this Friday or you can come to the main office anytime this week. NO PAYMENT IS REQUIRED, you already paid for for a cap and gown.  Senior packets are available in the main office if you did not receive one. 3D INNOVATIONS CLUB: Inviting all philomaths - future engineers, scientists, mechanics, designers, manufacturers and problem solvers who would like to explore 3-D technology. Anyone who is excited to learn, share, teach and create can join the 3-D Innovations Club. No experience in technology is necessary - just an insatiable curiosity and the willingness to make a difference.  Our meeting is Thursday, October 27th after school in D106 from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm.

MIDDLE EASTERN CLUB:  We are meeting after school on Wednesday in the family center.

CONGRATULATIONS:  The Boys Varsity Cross Country Team ran well and finished 8th as a team in their Regional Race on Saturday at Loyola Academy. Junior Derek Pace ran an outstanding race and qualified as an individual for this week’s Sectional Race.

BOYS BASKETBALL:  If you are a football player and missed yesterday's meeting, please contact Coach O'Brill or Coach Greco if you have any questions. The rest of the information can be found on the Boys' Basketball website.

GIRLS BASKETBALL:  Girls basketball will have their final two open gym times on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-5:30 in B wing. Also if you are planning on trying out on October 31, please register on 8 to 18 and have your physical completed before Monday. You will not be allowed to try out without having this completed.
