Red Ribbon week is next week. Spirit points are available for each dress up day and the after school activities. Kick it off Monday by "teaming up against drugs" and wearing your favorite team gear. After school join us for open zip line out on the track. No experience required. Come have fun. You don't want to miss out. 5 points for dressing up and 15 points for the activity.
STUDENTS:  Competitive dance season is here. Tryouts for the warriorettes dance team will be on Tuesday, October 25 and Thursday, October 27 at 3:30 in the dance room. Be sure to register online and turn in your physical to Mrs. O'Connell in the athletic office. Your physical must by turned into the athletic office to be eligible for tryouts. STUDENTS:  Interested in making a little extra cash? Thinking about the cost of books for college, or gas money for the next few months? The Des Plaines VFW post is once again sponsoring the Voice of Democracy Essay Contest. First place from Maine West wins $300.  Cash awards for second and third place. The winning essay is also entered into the national contest with a chance to win $30,000. For more information, ask your Social Science teacher or Mr. Barney in C211.

JUNIORS:  Class council will be meeting Tuesday at 7:10 am in A114.  We will be discussing the toy drive competition.

JUNIORS:  If you are close to or have a weighted, cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher at the end of this fall semester, you are eligible to apply for NHS in January 2017. Please come to an informational meeting  Tuesday, October 25 at 3:20 pm in L101.   Please check your email for this information as well.

STAFF/STUDENTS:  The Warrior Athletic Department is sponsoring a fundraiser at Charcoal Delights this weekend on Saturday October 22nd from noon - 9pm. Just eat at Charcoal Delights from noon-9 pm and drop your receipt in the box on the counter.  15% will go back to our Athletic Programs.

BOYS BASKETBALL: We will be having a pre-season meeting on Monday, October 24 at 3:25 pm in L101 for all boys interested in trying out for basketball. You must attend this meeting if you plan to tryout.
